Closing the Distance with Oncidium
Closing the Distance with Oncidium
The Kamaro'an exhibition and floral workshop showed how Oncidium orchids can move from nursery benches into daily creative life. As a sponsor, we were glad to see participants discover the flower through hands-on arrangement.
Learning through flowers
The class began with an introduction to Oncidium orchids and their background. Participants then selected flowers, trimmed stems, and arranged them with guidance from Yuty. The process made the orchid feel approachable rather than distant.
A new way to experience Oncidium
When each arrangement was completed, the flowers were no longer only display materials. They became personal works shaped by each participant's choices, rhythm, and imagination.
Why this matters
Oncidium orchids have strong potential in floral design, lifestyle display, and creative workshops. Events like this help more people understand the flower's movement, color, and charm in a direct way.
